Visit the website01 · The original brief
CARPEBO buys Greek walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts directly from producers. farmers.carpebo.com is its call to Greek producers: one page that says what the company buys, how the price is set and how payment works. The goal was for a producer, often on a phone, to understand the offer in a few seconds and send in their harvest with one form or one phone call.
- A one-page site just for producers, separate from the wholesale catalogue.
- A clear offer: what we buy, how the price is set, when you get paid.
- A form with everything an offer needs: nut, variety, kilos, region, price.
- Loads in just over 1 second, even on slow 4G.
- Page one of Google for the searches producers make.
02 · What made it hard
Search in reverse
On Google, almost every page about walnuts speaks to people who buy. The producer is looking for the opposite: someone to buy their harvest. The page had to speak their language and stand apart from the online shops.
Trust before the first call
A producer is handing over a whole year's harvest. They want to know who is buying, how the price is set and when they get paid. We put all of it on the page, in plain words.
Speed on mobile
Many producers open the page on a phone, often in rural areas with a weak signal. The page had to load fast with photos, a form and cookies.
